Privacy policy

Your selected image is processed locally in your browser. The tool does not upload the image to our server, create an account, or store your pattern in a cloud database.

Images and pattern data

Image decoding, color reduction, editing, and PNG generation happen on your device using browser APIs. Closing or refreshing the tab removes the working pattern. We do not receive the image filename, image contents, gauge values, chart cells, or exported file.

Cookies and analytics

The current site does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, accounts, or marketing cookies. It therefore does not show a consent banner. If this changes, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before non-essential tracking is enabled.

Hosting logs

Like most websites, our hosting and security provider may process limited technical data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, timestamp, and security signals to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose availability. These infrastructure logs do not include the image you work with inside the tool.

Your choices

You can use the tool without registering. You may block storage and scripts through your browser, although disabling JavaScript prevents the pattern maker from running. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@crochetchartmaker.com.
